No love. I say that because the old car wash here used to be called Luv A Wash before it was taken over by El Car Wash. The attendants used to actually power wash and scrub the front of your car before sending you through the machine. Now the attendant basically just presses a button and off you go. You can see from my before-and-after photos that a lot of the bugs on the front of the car barely came off after the wash. Yes, I only got the basic wash, but it honestly feels like the basic wash has now been reduced to mostly water spraying the car with very little soap or actual cleaning. Definitely feels like a downgrade in quality and overall atmosphere compared to when the local owner was around greeting customers and helping run the place. That said, the vacuum area and amenities have improved. The towels, sprays, and upgraded vacuum stations are a nice touch and probably better than before. One thing to watch is the pricing. Single washes used to be around $10 / $15 / $20 depending on package. Now it seems to jump from a very bare minimum $10 wash straight to around $20 and $25 options. You’ll end up doing most of the washing yourself even if you go through the machine wash
